Samsung may get orders for all Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chips, Galaxy S25’s too

Qualcomm may give orders for all Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipsets to Samsung Foundry. Since the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chips are set to be exclusively produced by TSMC’s 4nm N4P process, capacity issues may lead Qualcomm to switch to Samsung Foundry.

According to a new rumor, TSMC has just 15 percent of wafers remaining for Qualcomm, which it won’t accept. This means the US chip designer may eventually have the last option to make orders at Samsung Foundry, to get chips produced at its 3nm GAAP node.
