During the One UI 6 Beta Program sign-up, you have no other option but to give your consent to share your phone’s diagnostic data with Samsung. It’s a common term in Beta software testing, which helps the OEM better enhance the software before the Stable release.

As you can’t submit your Beta joining request without agreeing to share diagnostic data, it becomes controversial for some. If you want to revoke consent to provide diagnostic data that you agreed to when signed up for One UI 6 Beta, we have this guide for you.

During the sign up procedure, you have to give consent for diagnostic data sharing, however, you have to disable a toggle to revoke it. Simply, agree with the terms and conditions of the Beta Program, complete the registration and wait until the OTA update comes.

As soon as you successfully upgrade your Samsung Galaxy to the new One UI 6 Beta, you have to access Settings > Security and privacy > More privacy settings. Once done, simply disable the toggle entitled “Send diagnostic data.”

It will prevent the software collecting your phone’s diagnostic data.
