When is Android 14 coming to my Samsung phone?

Samsung One UI 6

Android 14 development reached near-Stable launch and Google could begin the rollout this month. Android 13’s official distribution began on August 15 last year, and we hope the same for v14. Meanwhile, there’s a question, when is Android 14 coming to my Samsung phone?

Samsung is on the verge to start the One UI 6 Beta Program for the Galaxy S23 series. In the next few weeks, the company will expand the Beta Program to more Galaxy models including the Galaxy S22 series. However, the Stable Android 14 is not too close to your Samsung Galaxy.

Beta Program isn’t for all

Like last year, the South Korean tech giant may not make One UI 6 Beta available for all eligible Galaxy models. The company’s Beta testing remains limited to a handful of countries for only flagship models. Meanwhile, there’s a possibility of joining new markets for the Beta, check list here.

Stable launch in October

Samsung Developer Conference would probably take place in October this year. At the event, the company will announce the launch of One UI 6 software powered by Android 14. Following the launch, the rollout will start for Galaxy devices, starting flagships > mid-rangers > budget phones.

Rollout to complete within 2023

Since mid-range and budget phones won’t be eligible for Beta testing, Samsung won’t make them wait much. If you have a Galaxy device with eligibility for Android 14, you will surely get it within 2023. For the latest One UI 6 insights, you can bookmark this page.
