Samsung reveals a One UI 6.0 Gallery feature, coming to Galaxy S23

Samsung recently announced the new foldable smartphones, which come pre-installed with One UI 5.1.1. With this new One UI iteration, Samsung is bringing several new features, and among them, a feature related to Gallery is revealed for the Galaxy S23 series.

According to the Korean community’s camera in charge, Samsung One UI 6.0 is being prepared for the Galaxy S23 series, which adds the ability to sharpen text and erase distractions in document scans. The moderator further explained how this feature works and enhances user experience.

With One UI 6.0, the Samsung Gallery app will get an enhanced document scan function. It will allow users to sharpen the text content so the scanned document will look clear. In addition, users will also be able to remove distortions like fingers from the scanned doc.

Apart from this, Samsung revealed a number of new One UI 5.1.1 Camera and Gallery features coming to older Galaxy devices. The company is testing the functions as per models and application processors that will debut with software updates in the future.

Millions of Samsung consumers are eligible for the One UI 6.0 update. Before the October end, Samsung started to release the Stable Android 14-based One UI 6.0 to the Galaxy S23 series devices. The expansion will continue along with new Galaxy devices in the update party.

Back in August, the South Korean tech giant started its Android 14 Beta Program, which took about two months to transform into Stable One UI 6.0 update. Notably, various Galaxy devices (mid-range and flagships) were able to test Android 14 through the One UI 6 in certain markets.
