Samsung is rolling out a new update for Galaxy Tab S6 Lite tablets, which installs the latest July 2023 Android security patch to enhance system security. Users can identify the latest update through One UI build version P619XXS3BWG2.
July 2023 security update for Galaxy Tab S6 Lite tablets is currently available in Brazil, and it can be downloaded with a 215.54 Megabytes package size. Other countries could get this update in the coming days or weeks. It is a gradual rollout, so reaching all Tab S6 Lite models may take time.
According to official details, the July 2023 security patch fixes over 90 issues including 3 Critical and 49 high levels of common vulnerability exposures. It mainly resolves issues related to ABD commands, Audio system service, Transactions, Data Profile, Galaxy Themes service, Settings, and more.
To install the update on your tablet, you just need to open the Settings app on your Galaxy device and tap on the Software update menu. Now, press the Download & Install key and follow the onscreen instructions. Let your device connect to the OTA server and allow it to download the new firmware, if there’s any.
