Professional footballer leaks Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic at an airport

Samsung is yet to release the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, but a football player (accidentally?) leaked it at an airport. The Galaxy Watch 6, which Samsung will introduce later this month, was captured on the wrist of Son Heung-min, who is active in the professional football Premier League.

After taking a break in Korea, Son Heung-min was wearing an alleged Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic on his left wrist at an airport. Son Heung-min’s appearance in public wearing the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, which has not yet been released, seems to be one of the so-called “leakage marketing.”

Regarding this, Samsung confirmed to Yonhap that “the new Galaxy Watch is correct.”

Previously, the South Korean tech giant focused consumer attention by introducing the Galaxy Watch 4, which was not released at the time, to Kim Yeon-Kyung, a volleyball player who was a member of the Galaxy brand ambassador ‘Team Galaxy.”

The company plans to hold a Galaxy Unpacked event at COEX on the 26th at 8:00 pm and introduce new products. Although specific products are not yet known, it is almost confirmed that the Watch 6 will be released along with foldable phones such as the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5.
