On July 10, Samsung disclosed (via Yonhap) that it has filed patent invalidation lawsuits against Mojo Mobility over wireless charging technologies. Last month, the company filed a series of lawsuits at the United States Patent and Trademark Office against the US-based wireless charging firm.

According to the report, Mojo Mobility filed a patent infringement against Samsung last year. It claimed that Samsung used some of its technologies in its flagship phones and smartwatches, without permission since 2016, after discussing a technological partnership with it.

Separately, Samsung was hit with a jury verdict in April to pay more than $303 million in damages to the US chip company Netlist in a patent infringement case. Samsung said it will try its best to continue to make its legal case until a final ruling comes out.
