Google surprises everyone with Play Store app’s blue makeover

Google Play Store app on Android devices gets a new look by changing its accent color. Google has ditched the green and Dynamic color, which changed with the wallpaper, and is now using blue everywhere in the Play Store.

Previously, the Play Store used a combination of green and Dynamic Colors, which adapted to the wallpaper of the device. However, this was inconsistent across different sections of the app, such as listings, search, and updates.

As per the information (9to5Google), the Google Play Store has replaced both green and Dynamic Color with blue as the accent color throughout the app. This is likely a temporary measure before Google implements full Dynamic Color support across the app, which would create a more personalized and cohesive experience.

Notably, this change has been rolled out to all Android users via a server-side update. It is not dependent on the device settings or preferences.

Aside from this, Google has also completed the rollout of “Sync apps to devices”. It lets us see and manage our apps on our phone, tablet, and Chromebook. This new change makes the Play Store app more convenient and useful.
