Samsung is reportedly testing One UI 6 firmware for its flagship smartphone – the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The firmware is based on Android 14, the latest version of Google’s operating system. However, the company already started this major One UI version testing for its successor series – Galaxy S23.

One UI 6.0 testing is going on with the PDA version number S908USQU2DWF1, which indicates that Samsung is working on the major update for the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Aside from this, the test build also reveals that Samsung is testing the firmware in the US on the T-Mobile and Metro network carriers, as it has a CSC code of TMK. The fourth last digit of its stable firmware is “C” which will be replaced with “D” when it gets the Android 14-based One UI 6 update.

The new testing build suggests that the Korean tech giant is making rapid progress with the development of the One UI 6.0. As per the schedule, the Stable version of Android 14 could release by late July, which could also be the timeframe for the One UI 6 Beta program.
