Samsung expands Galaxy Tab Active 3 June 2023 update in Canada
Earlier this month, Samsung pushed June 2023 security patch for Galaxy Tab Active 3 in several Latin American countries. In mid-June 2023, the company started expanding the latest Android security update for Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 in Canada.
June 2023 security update fixes dozens of security bugs in Android OS and One UI to improve the security and stability of the devices. However, the latest update does not accompany any noticeable changes for the Galaxy Tab Active 3 but it carries the freshly released monthly patch.
According to the official details, Samsung’s June 2023 Android security patch fixes more than 50 flaws including 3 critical, and 47 high-level of CVEs. It mainly fixes flaws related to CC Mode, Exynos, and Knox ID to make your device more secure.
The Korean tech giant is rolling out June 2023 update for Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 in Canada with PDA version T577UVLS5EWE2. The update could be expanded soon for all Tab Active 3 models.

If you have not already received the OTA update notification, expect to get it in the next day or so. The rollout happens rapidly so it shouldn’t be long before you’re able to get the update. You can manually check the update via your device’s Settings, Download and install option under Software Updates.

To manually check for updates, users can navigate to their phone’s Settings, scroll to the Software Update section, and select the “Download and Install” option if a new OTA is available.
Both the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 come pre-installed with Android 14 based on One UI 6.1.1. These foldable devices are set to receive the next major One UI update, expected to be available to developers by year’s end.
A community moderator revealed that a One UI 7 Beta program will soon be accessible to regular Galaxy users. However, details regarding eligible devices and schedules are yet to be confirmed.

Samsung has started rolling out the October 2024 security update for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5, following the Galaxy S24 series. The update is live for users in Europe and other regions will receive it soon.
