Google Lens now helps you to identify your skin condition

Google Lens skin feature

Google recently announced a new feature of Google Lens that can help you find out more about your skin problems. You can take a picture of your skin or use an existing photo, and Google will show you similar images from the internet. This can help you learn what kind of skin problem you might have, such as a rash, a bump, or a mark.

Here is an example of how Google Lens works. In the pictures below, someone uploaded a photo of their skin that looks red and itchy. Google Lens showed them other photos of people with the same problem. It also gave them a name for it: atopic dermatitis. This is a type of skin allergy that can cause dryness and inflammation.

This is how Google Lens can help you understand your skin better. This feature also works if you’re not sure how to describe something else on your body, like a bump on your lip, a line on your nails, or hair loss on your head.

But don’t forget, it is not a substitute for medical advice, remember that Google Lens is not a doctor and it cannot tell you for sure what is wrong with your skin.

It is only a tool that can give you some information. You should always talk to a real doctor if you have any skin or other health issues.

WhatsApp Call Links Group

WhatsApp is updating its app for Android devices with a useful feature for group calls with a new update. The latest version arrives with version 2.24.19.14 and is available through the Google Play Beta Program.

With the latest update, WhatsApp brings a new ability to create call links directly within group chats. Before, you had to go to the calls tab to generate a link for voice or video calls. Now, the latest update lets you make a call link from the chat itself.

Through this update, you don’t need to ring everyone in the group to start a call. Instead, you can share a link in the group chat to join the call. The new feature makes it easier to start and join calls in group chats.

Once you create the link, you can easily send it to the group, and members can join the call by clicking the link whenever they want. It’s particularly useful for big groups or people in different time zones who may not be available at the same time.

The call link feature of group chats is currently available through the WhatsApp beta update. The company will soon make it available for all users in upcoming stable updates.

Facing Google Maps app crashes on Android? Try this quick fix

Published

Google Maps Crashing issues

Several Android users have recently reported that Google Maps keeps crashing. The issue affects Android users using both stable and beta versions of the app, specifically with versions 11.144.x and 11.145.x.

Users on various Android devices including Pixel and Samsung Galaxy phones have noted that Google Maps opens normally but then closes suddenly after a few seconds. This makes the app unusable for checking maps or getting directions.

Notably, the issue seems to be more common for those on the Android 15 Beta, though people with the stable version are also facing the same.

If you’re experiencing this issue, you can try a temporary solution to fix it. You can uninstall recent updates of Google Maps, just need to go to the App info page, and tap on the Uninstall updates option and this may help to fix.

Since Google Maps is often preinstalled on devices, you can’t completely uninstall it. Older versions of the app don’t seem to have this problem, so rolling back to a previous version could be a solution for now.

As of now, Google hasn’t acknowledged the issue or commented on releasing a fix. Not everyone is having this issue, so if your Google Maps is still working, that’s good. If you facing the Google Maps issue, you need to pause updates until this issue is resolved. Stay tuned for updates from Google for a permanent solution.
