Google Photos Ultra HDR Support

Way back in 2020, Google introduced the Cinematic Photo feature, which updated in 2022 with a 3D-like zoom effect. In a recent development, the Google Photos app has started to roll out the Cinematic Photo feature, letting users give a cinematic 3D-like zoom effect to their photos.

Subscribers of Google One and Pixel smartphones will have access to the Google Photos app’s Cinematic Photo feature. To access it, you just need to pick the Library option from the bottom bar, followed by the Utilities and Create New section.

Images stored in your smartphone’s Google Photos app are supported for the new Cinematic Photo feature. Using it, you can convert any photo into a Cinematic Photo that is saved as a short video clip along with the original image in the internal storage.

When you use it for the first time, an on-page download will begin to install the supportive plugin. Once done, the app will let you access the feature and create stunning Cinematic Photos. So if you want it on your Samsung Galaxy, Google One is the only “official” way.
