Samsung intros Gaming House in Fortnite Surprise City: Metaverse
Samsung introduces the Gaming House in Surprise City, the famous Fortnite island of the RP (Role Playing) style, which recreates a life simulation on an open map with various possibilities. With this, Samsung Latin America has now expanded its presence in the gaming universe.
This is the third environment that Samsung has launched within the Metaverse, which already has another gameplay in Smart City, also in Fortnite, and the House of SAM coexistence space, in Decentraland. Samsung’s entry into Surprise City begins with a teleportation from his own island, Smart City.

Smart City and Surprise City are now connected to increase Samsung’s presence in the game. At the month’s end, the Gaming House Samsung will be inaugurated, with several activations. This is the first time that the famous island of Surprise City from Fortnite has received a brand presence with Samsung.
The Samsung Gaming House building has three floors and features a variety of immersive activities.
On the first floor is the Meeting Lounge, an authentic area for conviviality in a pleasant and modern environment, made up of televisions, sofas, vending machines and much more.
On the second floor will be the eSports Hub, inspired by tournament arenas, which will bring a famous game mode connected with the concept of Samsung products.
On the third floor, the Rooftop, there will be an activation that will launch the players into the skies of Surprise City, creating a true aerial tour with the possibility of landing directly in the desired places.

Biased camera ranking puts iPhone 15 Pro Max 2nd and Galaxy S23 Ultra 15th: DXOMARK vs Practical Triumph
Camera evaluation firm DXOMARK has recently published its Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max review. In the global ranking, Apple’s hottest (LOL!) iPhone is listed second, after Huawei’s P60 Pro, while the real winner – Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra is 15th.
The new iPhone 15 Pro Max comes with a 40-megapixel primary, a 12-megapixel ultrawide, and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera. Besides, the A17 Pro chipset gives a further boost to the device, enhancing the camera capabilities and photography skills.

DXOMARK blessed the iPhone 15 Pro Max with 154 points and praised vivid brightness and contrast, accurate exposure, pleasant and natural color rendering, and skin tones, excellent detail in bright light, fast and accurate autofocus, and effective video stabilization.

Samsung has reportedly tried to make changes in the Galaxy smartphones’ internet browsers design, as part of making it easier to pick the preferred Seach Engine (browser) as default. The company ultimately backed down as Google reminded it about the breach of the agreement.
According to WallStreetJournal, Samsung had attempted to tweak the way of altering the default Galaxy Browser (search engine) for consumer convenience. Meanwhile, Google had opposed the move and emphasized to Samsung that such a move would be a breach of the agreement.

ChatGPT to power Samsung AI Chatbot: Samsung’s Strategic Leap into AI Development with Microsoft
According to a recent report from Korean media outlet, Samsung is developing a “Samsung AI Chatbot” that will assist with tasks such as translation and document summarization using the Large Language Model (LLM) developed by OpenAI.
Edaily disclosed that the company is using Microsoft’s “Azure OpenAI Service” to create an AI chatbot for work assistance to be used within the company. If Samsung tries to develop its own generative AI using OpenAI’s LLM, it must use MS Azure Cloud.
- Samsung Electronics is known to have linked OpenAI’s LLM to this service and is undergoing a technology verification (PoC) process.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S23 FE on October 4, the same day as Google Pixel 8 launch. Ahead of the debut, US pricing of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S23 FE has been revealed.
According to MySmartPrice report, Samsung’s Galaxy S23 FE could come with a price tag of $599 in the US. This would make it $100 more cheaper than the S21 FE, as part of promoting it as the best budget flagship of this year.

This year’s FE smartphone doensn’t pack the same chipset as the flagship models. Rumors say that the S23 FE will be equipped with Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipsets, availability country-wise.
Google’s upcoming Pixel 8 handset reportedly starts at $699. Hence, the Galaxy S23 FE’s lower starting price could help Samsung capture those consumers who don’t care too much about camera performance.
