Samsung has a huge ambition for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 sales. Tipster @Tech_Reve claims that Samsung plans to ship 15 million foldable smartphones this year, which means it will be 60 percent higher than the actual sales last year.

According to tipster, Samsung Electronics’ sales target (ambition) for foldable smartphones including the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 is 15 million units, which represents a 60 percent increase compared to the previous year.

The South Korean tech giant is expected to launch its next-gen foldable phones in late July or early August this year. Analysts pointed out that Samsung was one of the first manufacturers to release foldables, but its phones are currently falling into fierce market competition.

Some colors and models of the Google Pixel Fold, which will be officially released next month, were once “out of stock” on the reservation page in the US. Besides, Motorola is also coming to the market with two clamshell foldable phones shortly.
