Samsung One UI 5 Watch (Wear OS 4) Beta Is Late?
Earlier this month, Samsung announced the One UI 5 Watch operating system for Galaxy smartwatches running Wear OS. In the press release, Samsung said that the One UI 5 Watch Beta program will go live in May 2023, but it has not happened yet.
One UI 5 Watch is the next generation of wearable mobile platform designed by Samsung. The Beta activity lets Galaxy users experience the new features and changes ahead of public release months ahead. However, the software has not yet been announced for testing.

Google started the Wear OS 4 Developer Beta activity, letting app creators better understand the new APIs and behavior changes. The Wear OS 4 is currently available on the emulator, while the One UI 5 Watch remains delayed as of May 31st.
It’s worth mentioning that we have not seen any moderator’s comment regarding the delay in One UI 5 Watch Beta. This indicates that the company may be in the final phase of internal testing and readying the software for public rollout in Beta activity.
This unprecedented delay in One UI 5 Watch Beta leaves Galaxy smartwatch users disappointed. As showcased by Samsung, the new firmware will wisely refine the user interface to make it more easy and convenient to use along with additional new features.

Biased camera ranking puts iPhone 15 Pro Max 2nd and Galaxy S23 Ultra 15th: DXOMARK vs Practical Triumph
Camera evaluation firm DXOMARK has recently published its Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max review. In the global ranking, Apple’s hottest (LOL!) iPhone is listed second, after Huawei’s P60 Pro, while the real winner – Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra is 15th.
The new iPhone 15 Pro Max comes with a 40-megapixel primary, a 12-megapixel ultrawide, and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera. Besides, the A17 Pro chipset gives a further boost to the device, enhancing the camera capabilities and photography skills.

DXOMARK blessed the iPhone 15 Pro Max with 154 points and praised vivid brightness and contrast, accurate exposure, pleasant and natural color rendering, and skin tones, excellent detail in bright light, fast and accurate autofocus, and effective video stabilization.

Samsung has reportedly tried to make changes in the Galaxy smartphones’ internet browsers design, as part of making it easier to pick the preferred Seach Engine (browser) as default. The company ultimately backed down as Google reminded it about the breach of the agreement.
According to WallStreetJournal, Samsung had attempted to tweak the way of altering the default Galaxy Browser (search engine) for consumer convenience. Meanwhile, Google had opposed the move and emphasized to Samsung that such a move would be a breach of the agreement.

ChatGPT to power Samsung AI Chatbot: Samsung’s Strategic Leap into AI Development with Microsoft
According to a recent report from Korean media outlet, Samsung is developing a “Samsung AI Chatbot” that will assist with tasks such as translation and document summarization using the Large Language Model (LLM) developed by OpenAI.
Edaily disclosed that the company is using Microsoft’s “Azure OpenAI Service” to create an AI chatbot for work assistance to be used within the company. If Samsung tries to develop its own generative AI using OpenAI’s LLM, it must use MS Azure Cloud.
- Samsung Electronics is known to have linked OpenAI’s LLM to this service and is undergoing a technology verification (PoC) process.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S23 FE on October 4, the same day as Google Pixel 8 launch. Ahead of the debut, US pricing of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S23 FE has been revealed.
According to MySmartPrice report, Samsung’s Galaxy S23 FE could come with a price tag of $599 in the US. This would make it $100 more cheaper than the S21 FE, as part of promoting it as the best budget flagship of this year.

This year’s FE smartphone doensn’t pack the same chipset as the flagship models. Rumors say that the S23 FE will be equipped with Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipsets, availability country-wise.
Google’s upcoming Pixel 8 handset reportedly starts at $699. Hence, the Galaxy S23 FE’s lower starting price could help Samsung capture those consumers who don’t care too much about camera performance.
