Samsung ECO Run S23 Metaverse mini hunt game goes live
Recently, Samsung released a new mini-game at the House Of SAM in Decentraland. The new Samsung ECO Run S23 Metaverse game takes the sustainability of the Galaxy S23 as a starting point. In the treasure hunt format, participants must look for recyclable materials and correctly dispose of them for recycling.
The matches are individual and can be played at three different levels of difficulty. The prize for the winners who do the hunt correctly in less time is an S23 Sneakers NFT – an exclusive model of sneakers to be used by the avatar in the Metaverse, inspired by the Galaxy S23.

The focus of the game is on the sustainability of the Galaxy S23 series, which features a wider range of recycled materials, including pre-consumer recycled aluminum and glass, and post-consumer recycled plastics from discarded fishing nets, water barrels and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles.
Adding to this, the Galaxy S23 Ultra has 12 internal and external elements made with recycled materials, twice as many as the previous generation. The ECO Run S23 mini game is yet another initiative by Samsung to bring entertainment to Metaverse, in addition to the events in its virtual space.
To play it, you need to access the House Of SAM, on Decentraland, through this link. The winner needs to be logged into Decentraland with a cryptocurrency wallet to secure their S23 Sneakers in NFT. The requirements are from the portal itself.

Google Messages is getting a new look for its voice recorder UI. The microphone icon in the text field will change to a waveform icon, which is different from the voice typing button in Gboard.
Instead of holding down the mic to record, you will now see a panel with a start/stop button and options to cancel, delete, or attach the recording. You will also see a waveform and a timer while recording, and you can play back the recording before sending it.
The voice messages preview will also show a waveform between the play/pause button and the timer, making it more noticeable than the current straight line.
These changes are not widely available yet, but some users have reported seeing them on their phones. These new changes are part of a bigger redesign that Google is working on for Messages, which includes a revamped home screen that is still in beta testing. Google might announce new features soon.
Samsung managed to create an ecosystem of FE products, which are not too far from launch. In October, Samsung is likely to announce the Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Buds FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE series. Meanwhile, a tipster just leaked the official promotional material of these upcoming devices.

Notably, a leaked promo shows off the control center of the Galaxy S23 FE, which mentions October 4 as the date. This means the company is preparing to hold its FE products launch on the same date as Google’s Made by Google event for Pixel 8 series.
