Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 getting May 2023 firmware
Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 4 lineup is receiving a fresh new firmware update. The Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic started getting the May 2023 update in India, which installs the latest version of Samsung Health.
This Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 series May 2023 update may have included a newer security patch, which isn’t mentioned in the changelog. It aims to improve the system’s stability and reliability for a better user experience.

Samsung consumers in India can identify this release via the PDA build version ending with GWDA. It weighs about 300 megabytes and came just before the time when Samsung is likely to begin the One UI 5 Watch Beta program.
In the second half of the year, the South Korean tech giant will introduce the next-gen smartwatch lineup. Those wearables will come pre-loaded with the One UI 5 Watch operating system based on Wear OS 4 (Android 13).
So if you have a Galaxy Watch 4 or Watch 4 Classic in India, you can install the latest build using the Galaxy Wearable application. We expect Samsung will soon expand the availability of this new Watch 4 software.
