Samsung shares sweet new software with Galaxy S20 series
Last month, Samsung blessed the Galaxy A10e with May 2023 patches. Later on, the company shifted its gear and started sharing this epic update with the Galaxy S23, followed by the S22 and S21 series. Now, Samsung begins rolling out May 2023 One UI patch to Galaxy S20, in Europe.
Samsung consumers in Europe receiving the May 2023 One UI patch on their Galaxy S20, S20 Plus or S20 Ultra smartphone. This sweet new software comes with the same security improvements Samsung served to the newly released Galaxy S23 flagships.

The package comes with fixes for over 58 common vulnerability exposures for the Android operating system. Additionally, the company included 21 SVE items in order to further enhance security on the Galaxy-exclusive One UI software and native services.
It’s worth mentioning that the Galaxy S20 series users in Brazil received the May patches four days ago. The latest software is now available in select countries in the European regions. If you also have one, trigger manual software download now to boost the reliability of the system.

Reminder: Samsung will not release the Android 14 update to the Galaxy S20 series. The lineup came preloaded with Android 10 and received a total of three major OS upgrades, completing the software lifespan. Samsung has started releasing One UI 5.1.1 update for Galaxy A51 5G and Galaxy A71 5G smartphones. The update is rolling out on the Verizon network in the US. The latest update installs the August 2023 security patch to improve system security and stability.
