Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones are getting May 2023 security update in Canada. The latest update improves system security by installing the latest Android patch.
The newest security patch is already available for Samsung Galaxy S23 series smartphones in the US, India, Europe, Australia, Poland, and more countries. Now, the company is making it available on Fido mobile network carrier in Canada.
May 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy S23 fixes more than 70 issues including 4 critical, 48 high, and 3 moderate level of common vulnerability exposures, however, 2 were fixed in the previous release and 1 isn’t applicable on Galaxy devices. It is just an incremental update so no new features have been added to the Galaxy S23 series.
May 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones in Canada have bumped up the firmware versions to S911WVLS1AWCA, S916WVLS1AWCA, and S918WVLS1AWCA respectively.

The installation package size of the new software is 401.67 MB, you can download it through Settings >> Software Updates >> Download and install option.
