Verizon begins rolling out the May 2023 software updates to Samsung Galaxy devices. Recently, the carrier released May 2023 security patch for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphones along with fresh new OTAs for the Galaxy S21 series.

Since the foldables are grabbing the most up-to-date Android patches, the May 2023 update doesn’t treat the S21 lineup the same, resulting in April’s patch. Meanwhile, the flagship lineup may have received the Image Clipper feature and hidden camera optimizations with this release.
