Galaxy Z Flip 5 gets unique cover screen
As Chinese vendors brought incredibly bigger cover screens to their flip phones, Samsung doesn’t want to lag behind. This year’s Galaxy Z Flip phone is getting a huge 3.4-inch cover screen, which isn’t a regular one. The company has designed it like a folder icon shape to vacant space for camera rings.
Motorola Razr 2023 could beat the Galaxy Z Flip 5’s big cover display, which reportedly measures 3.5 inches. However, the Flip 5 is receiving this major upgrade as the Flip 4 and Flip 3 bring just a smart band-like screen, which expands to 1.9 inches.
Probably, the top half glass of the Flip 5 will stay black, in order to blend the folder-shaped cover screen when not in use. In addition to regular shades, the Korean tech giant should avail Bespoke editions in select markets, giving users an opportunity to customize their phone before purchase.
Samsung is considering to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 5 in the fourth week of July, as per the most recent report from Korea. In addition, the company will also release the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Watch 6 series, One UI 5 Watch software, plans for One UI 6 and more.
