Samsung surprises the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus users with the rollout of the May 2023 security update. The company has recently updated the Note 10 lineup in European markets, but it didn’t bring the latest Android patches to the consumers.

The May 2023 security update by Samsung is rolling out to the Galaxy Note 10 5G smartphones in South Korea. Both the Note 10 5G and Note 10 Plus 5G are getting the most up-to-date security patches in order to enhance the system’s security and reliability.

At the beginning of the month, the South Korean tech giant announced that the May 2023 security patch brings fixes for over 58 vulnerabilities discovered by Google. Additionally, the company has included 21 SVE items so your Galaxy device stays secure against threats.

The legendary Galaxy Note 10 series (Note 10, Note 10 5G, Note 10+, Note 10+ 5G, and Note 10 Lite) is currently eligible for some quarterly software updates, as per Samsung’s support page. However, the devices continue to receive new patches on a monthly basis, which is a bonus for the users.

Soon after the 5G lineup, the company should expand the May 2023 software to the 4G network-supported Galaxy Note 10 models in other markets. As European users are receiving the April patch, there is a possibility that the May patch may hit the devices later this month.
