Samsung One UI April 2023 Updates List
Samsung One UI April 2023 updates started to roll out for supported Galaxy smartphones and tablets. The company’s new software releases bring new bug fixes, security improvements, Android plus One UI patches, and new features to certain devices.
On March 30, Samsung started One UI-based April 2023 updates distribution to the Galaxy S23 series in South Korea. As the vendor is on roll, April is becoming like a mobile software updates-packed month, well, it’s not a new thing in the Galaxy ecosystem.
Samsung in April 2023
This month, the South Korean tech giant will not launch any notable product, as the preparations are already underway for the next-gen foldables. In the Android world, Google could start the Android 14’s Beta program for general Pixel users and some Chinese vendors may join the party as well.
One UI 5.1 and 6 Beta?
The South Korean tech giant is about to conclude the One UI 5.1 rollout for supported Galaxy devices. Talking about the One UI 6 Beta, Galaxy S23 is the first Samsung smartphone lineup eligible for Android 14 Beta, however, it’s too away, probably four months.
Galaxy OTAs in April
On the 4th, Samsung published the April 2023 Android and One UI security bulletin for Galaxy devices. The latest SW brings new camera features (device-specific), major improvements, and optimizations for a better user experience.

Unlocked US Galaxy S23 models getting November 2024 security update
Following locked models, Samsung has now started rolling out the November 2024 security update for unlocked models of Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra in the US. The update improves system security and stability to provide a better experience.
Users of unlocked Samsung Galaxy S23 models are getting a November 2024 security update with the One UI builds version given below.
- S911U1UES5CXI8 – Galaxy S23
- S916U1UES5CXI8 – Galaxy S23 Plus
- S918U1UES5CXI8 – Galaxy S23 Ultra
The latest security update is here for the Galaxy S23 series, and it brings security fixes from both Google and Samsung. In total, 52 bugs and vulnerabilities have been patched in Android and Samsung software. Out of these, 38 are considered high-level by Google. There’s also one issue that doesn’t affect Galaxy devices.
However, Samsung has also fixed 13 other problems, mostly related to multiple user profiles, Dex Mode, Galaxy Watch, Settings, and Maintenance Mode. All in all, this update will help keep your Galaxy devices running safely and smoothly.
If you have received the notification of the update then install it now to get a bug-free experience. You can also check the update by visiting the Settings app on your smartphone and opening the Software Update section.

Verizon reveals Android 15 November 2024 security patch details
Google has not yet released the latest security update for Pixel phones. Meanwhile, US carrier Verizon has already revealed the November 2024 security patch details for Google Pixel devices running Android 15.
Verizon support page (via 9to5Google) reveals that the Android 15 November 2024 security patch brings general improvements and stability to UI and animations. The page suggests that the rollout should have started on November 5, which didn’t.
Looks like Google addressed some major issues related to functional stability. Pixel 9 series users can expect even better and smoother animations. The November patch is said to bring stability in certain UI transitions and animations.
Apart from this, the carrier’s release notes contain details about the latest security patch coming to the Pixel 9 series. There are also details of what’s coming out for the Pixel 6, Pixel 7, and Pixel 8 series in the next few days.

November 2024 security patch marks first update for Galaxy Tab S10+ [US]
We are in November 2024, Samsung has rolled out the first software update for the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus, which brings the latest security patch to users in the United States. The update is currently available for Verizon-locked models, with plans for a wider rollout in the coming days.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Plus users are getting the November 2024 security update in the US with One UI build version X828USQS2AXJ7. Users will have to install around 350MB package to install the update.
