Samsung started rolling out the April 2023 security update for the Galaxy S22 series in April itself, which the company later expanded to more countries. Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphones have now started receiving the second April 2023 update.
Let us tell you that with the first April 2023 security update, the company added the Image Clipper feature to the Galaxy S22 series, which became available in some countries. For this reason, the company is now rolling out a second April 2023 update so that all Galaxy S22 models get the new Image Clipper feature and camera improvements.
The latest software of Galaxy S22 Ultra brings camera and gallery improvements to enhance overall performance. In addition, it enhances the security of the devices through the latest Android patch.
At the moment, the second April update is rolling out for Galaxy S22 variants in Brazil and the company will soon expand it to more eligible Galaxy devices. You can identify the new update through One UI build version S901EXXU4CWD2, S906EXXU4CWD2, and S908EXXU4CWD2 for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones respectively.
The installation package size of this update is 1697.27 megabytes, so it will add the Image Clipper feature along with camera improvements. The image Clipper feature allows you to cut out an object or thing from a photo from the background and share the separated object of the image by saving it.
Notably, the first April 2023 update for the Galaxy S22 in Brazil had a regular monthly package size of around 400MB, which you can know from version S90xEXXS4CWD1.

Samsung is releasing the September 2023 update for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones in India. The new update installs the latest security patch to improve system security and stability.
September 2023 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series in India arrives with the One UI build version mentioned below.

Samsung is pushing a new update with the September 2023 security update for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones in Brazil. This update is already available in the US, Canada, and Europe.
