Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy A34 5G getting big April 2023 update in India

Samsung has begun rolling out the April 2023 security update for Galaxy S20 FE 5G and Galaxy A34 5G smartphones in India. The latest firmware aims to improve your smartphone’s system security and reliability to keep the data safe against exploits and vulnerabilities.

According to the information, Samsung’s April 2023 security patch mends five critical, 46 high, and one moderate level of CVEs to provide a better experience. Also, the update improves some functions of Gallery and Camera app.

The Korean tech giant is pushing April 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G with One UI version G781BXXU5HWCH while Galaxy A34 5G is getting this update with version A346EXXU2AWD4 in India.

The installation package size of the latest patch for both devices is above 900 MB, which is greater than the regular monthly update package. So it is expected that the update brings new features and major improvements along with the security enhancement.

Furthermore, several stock apps including Samsung Notes Add-ons, Galaxy Wearable, Samsung Kids, SmartThings, Members, Wallet, and more may be updated to the latest version after the software update.

Notably, the update for Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy A34 is based on One UI 5.1. Users can install the April 2023 security patch on their devices, just need to access System Settings and visit the Software update tab. Once reached, you should get another tab entitled “Download and install” tap on it. Now, follow the on-screen instructions to finish the software update procedure.
