April 2023 security update starts rolling out for Samsung Galaxy A31, A32 5G
Samsung has started releasing a new update for Galaxy A31 and Galaxy A32 5G smartphones, which installs the latest April 2023 security patch to improve system security.
April 2023 Android security patch for Samsung Galaxy A31 and Galaxy A32 brings fixes for over 60 vulnerabilities and exposures that were harming user privacy and security. It is a regular monthly update so it does not include any new features or changes but might add Galaxy Buds Pro lock screen widget.
The newest patch for Samsung Galaxy A31 is rolling out with version A315GDXS2DWD1 in Bolivia, Colombia, Panama, Guatemala, and Mexico.
While the Galaxy A32 5G is grabbing the latest patch with One UI build version A326BXXS5CWD5 in Peru, Austria, Brazil, Colombia, Croatia, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, the Philippines, the UK, and Vietnam.
How to update?
Users can install the April 2023 security patch on their devices, just need to access System Settings and visit the Software update tab. Once reached, you should get another tab entitled “Download and install” tap on it. Now, follow the on-screen instructions to finish the software update procedure.

The latest security patch includes critical updates from both Google and Samsung. Notably, Google’s patch resolves 2 critical vulnerabilities and 28 high-level issues, although one was previously addressed, and two do not apply to Galaxy devices.
On the other side, 12 Samsung vulnerabilities have been fixed which are related to system services and Knox to ensure a more secure user experience. Additionally, Samsung Semiconductor has also added a fix to boost performance.
