Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series will solely use AMOLED display, no LCD panel anymore!

Everyone is excited to see Samsung‘s next tablet series – Galaxy Tab S9, which will be launched in the second half of this year. After the launch of Galaxy Tab S8 devices, several rumors, leaks, and renders started appearing online. Now, a new piece of information indicates that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 all models will use an AMOLED display.

According to the information received through Ross Young, Samsung will also use an AMOLED display in the Standard Model of its upcoming Galaxy Tab S9 series. This means that this time all the models of the Galaxy Tab S9 series will have an AMOLED display.

The company is ditching the LCD display for the 11-inch Galaxy Tab S9 and going for an OLED display. This new strategy will help the company to boost the OLED tablet market.

For your information, the base model of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 features an LCD display while the Plus and Ultra models have AMOLED displays. Now, the company plans to bring an AMOLED display to the whole series.

Several rumors suggest that the Korean tech giant will launch the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series alongside Galaxy Watch 6, new foldable smartphones, and the first Foldable tablet.

Recently, a well-known tipster reveals the specs of the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. As per that, the Ultra model will feature a 14.6-inch Super AMOLED display with 1848 x 2960 px resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, 326.4 x 208.6 x 5.5mm dimension,  Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, IP68 rating, and more.
