Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra could be ‘featherlight’ iPhone 16 Pro Max killer
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra could be 8 grams lighter than the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max. The next Galaxy S Ultra could launch in January next year. However, the rumors about the next flagship are intensifying after yesterday’s Apple Event.
According to Ice Universe, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra would weigh 219 grams. It’s a sharp reduction of approximately 7-8 grams than the S24 Ultra. Notably, Apple’s recently launched iPhone 16 Pro Max weighs 227 grams.
In smartphones, the reduction of even a single gram requires a lot of engineering. Despite bringing a 5000mAh battery, the S25 Ultra is lightweight. It aligns with Samsung’s commitment to continuously improve the Galaxy experience.
Galaxy S Ultra weight over the years:
- Galaxy S24 Ultra: 232 grams
- Galaxy S23 Ultra: 233 grams
- Galaxy S22 Ultra: 228 grams
- Galaxy S21 Ultra: 227 grams
The S25 Ultra is said to ditch angular frame design as well as sharp corners. The frame appearance is said to be inspired by the Galaxy Note 7. The S Pen slot will also be there, still bringing a weight reduction worth welcoming.
Since the battery capacity is the same, efficiency might improve with the new chipset. Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will power the S25 series. It uses a custom Oryon CPU, which brings a significant boost to performance and efficiency.
Well, we suggest you take this information as a pinch of salt. Leaked inputs often face modifications during development and testing. Rumor of 50MP 3x Telephoto denied by the same source within a short period of reveal.

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE price leak indicates a sharp hike
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE price leak hints at a 100 Euro price hike. The company is preparing to launch its next Fan Edition smartphone next month. It seems the upgraded specs and features are set to increase the phone’s price.
According to winfuture, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE price could be 100 Euro more than its predecessor. The company is said to charge 799 euros for the version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The Korean tech giant is raising the price of its Fan Edition handset. No doubt, there are significant upgrades included, but it sounds against the spirit of Flagship Killer. Are those rumored hardware enhancements justify the price hike of 100 euros?
This isn’t the final information about the pricing as Samsung has yet to announce the device. However, the input came from a pretty credible source, Roland Quandt, who has a record of disclosing almost confirmed information.
The report also reveals that Samsung’s next Fan Edition smartphone will be available in White/Silver and Gray/Black colors. Apart from standard hues, there will also be Yellow, Green, and Light Blue colorways.
Galaxy S24 FE could use an Exynos 2400e processor internationally. It is said to have 100MHz less primary core frequency than the Exynos 2400. The modification is aligned with power efficiency improvements.
The display is also getting larger, from 6.4 inches in S23 FE to 6.7 inches in S24 FE. The camera department consists of a 50MP primary, a 12MP ultrawide, and an 8MP Telephoto with 3x optical zoom alongside the 10MP selfie snapper.
