Samsung will start rolling out April 2023 software update to various Galaxy devices in Canada. Starting tomorrow, a handful of Galaxy devices will receive new security patches, camera improvements, further optimizations, and more in the country.

Twitter user @theonecid shared a cryptic roadmap, which is the April 2023 update roadmap for Samsung devices in Canada. The roadmap includes the most anticipated OTAs for the latest Samsung flagships – Galaxy S23 series – along with the Galaxy S22, and Galaxy Z Flip4/Fold4.

April 2023 Updates

The Galaxy S23 series and Galaxy S22 series will start getting their April 2023 security patch on April 12. Moreover, the Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4, and Galaxy Z Flip3 are scheduled for the same treatment starting April 19. As of now, there’s no info about other eligible flagships such as S21, S20 and Note 20 series.

March 2023 Patch

Samsung has recently started to release the latest April 2023 patches to the Galaxy A32 5G smartphone. However, Canadian carriers are likely to deliver the March security patch instead of the latest one to one of the best-selling Samsung phones tomorrow.

February 2023 Patch

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and Galaxy A21 are the two Samsung products that would receive the February 2023 security patch. Both devices are quite older and belong to the company’s budget segments, hence, the consumers will have just satisfactory remedy.

Samsung Galaxy Canada April 2023 update

Since the update chart just shows April 2023 security update for the Galaxy S23 and S22 series, we believe there will be more under-the-hood content. Samsung delivered a camera focussed software to Galaxy S23 in the international market, which aims to fix several issues and problems.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S22 series would not just receive the latest security patch as Samsung shared the Image Clipper feature as well. Earlier, we reported that Galaxy S22 users can now enjoy the S23’s Image Clipper function after installing the April 2023 update.
