Verizon is now rolling out the One UI 5.1 update for Samsung Galaxy A23 smartphone users in the US. The major update comes with new features and enhancements to Camera, Gallery, Wallpaper, Widgets, and Multitasking to deliver a next-level experience.

The latest rollout installs March 2023 security patch to fix some issues for system security enhancement. The Samsung Galaxy A23 smartphone users can identify the One UI 5.1 update on the Verizon network with PDA version A236VSQU1BWC3. 

Galaxy A23 4G users have already received the One UI 5.1 update and the 5G variant has also received it on the T-Mobile network in the US. Now, the company expanding this huge update to more Galaxy models.

One UI 5.1 offers an easier way to choose selfie color tones, improved search in the Gallery app, Shared Family Album, and an easy way to view and edit information of image and video files. You can easily minimize apps or switch to full screen by dragging the corners of the app’s window. In split-screen multitasking mode, frequently used apps are displayed first.

Furthermore, this major update adds widgets for battery charge levels of the phone and connected accessories. The Weather app also gets a new dynamic widget to show all the relevant info in the first and hourly precipitation information.

You can now mask AR emojis on up to three faces in an image simultaneously by using the AR Emoji feature. Furthermore, you can add a new contacts widget to easily access four contacts directly from the home screen of your smartphone.

You can now visit your phone’s Software update section through Settings and tap the Download and install option to get access to One UI 5.1 update and its new features and goodies.
