Google Android Auto 9.3 beta adds Starting app option, revamped pause button

Google Android Auto app is getting a new beta update with version 9.3. This latest beta update brings new features and options to improve the functions of the app so that users can use it easily.

The Android Auto 9.3 Beta update has added a new Starting Apps option in the Settings menu. This new option gives users more flexibility and control over how they use Android Auto.

The Starting App option allows you to choose which app to start up first when you connect your phone to Android Auto. You can choose to launch as Navigation, Launcher (If no Navigator app is enabled), or Media. However, Media is not currently supported but maybe soon.

According to the information (via Androidsage), the new update adds a new pause icon for music in the taskbar widget. Although, the pause icon was previously present but it has been redesigned and now this new option allows users to pause music playback without opening Music app from the taskbar widget.

This latest beta version of Android Auto also brings some other improvements such as faster startup times, better voice command recognition, and better compatibility with a range of Android devices. These improvements have been made to deliver a smoother and more responsive experience for the users.
