Samsung Galaxy M31s getting first security update of the year 2023
Samsung Galaxy M31s smartphone currently has biannual security status, which means that the smartphone will receive at least two security updates every year. The month of April has started and Samsung has started releasing the first update of the year 2023 for the Galaxy M31s smartphone.
The latest version of Galaxy M31s brings February 2023 security patch to improve system security. In addition, it also optimizes the stability and performance of the device to provide a better experience.
Samsung’s February 2023 security patch fixes a total of 55 vulnerabilities and exposures that were harming user privacy and security. More specifically, this patch addresses 5 CVEs leveled Critical, and 43 CVEs leveled High.
The first update of 2023 for Samsung Galaxy M31s comes with a One UI build version M317FXXU3DWB3 and an installation package of 418.04 megabytes. It is rolling out in India and will be available to all M31s models soon.
Furthermore, the current firmware mainly focuses on enhancing the system’s stability to reduce errors like crashing, lagging, or freezing. Aside from this, you might also notice some performance improvements after installing this update.

Samsung is rolling out a new update for the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus, and Galaxy S20 Ultra, which comes with a big-size installation package of 1.3GB. The update installs the August 2023 security patch to improve system security.
However, the changelog of this update does not include any new feature or change except system security maintenance, stability optimizations, and bug fixes. Moreover, it updates several stock apps including Samsung Notes Add-ons, Galaxy Wearable, Kids, Notes, Health, SmartThing, Members, Wallet, Calculator, and Smart Switch to the latest version.
