Samsung Galaxy S23 gets alleged camera improvements software in Taiwan: AWC4

Samsung Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra start receiving a new software update in Taiwan, which may have included camera improvements. Earlier, a reliable Samsung tipster claimed that at the end of March, the Galaxy S23 series will get a big camera optimization update.
According to the information, Samsung Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra devices getting AWC4 software updates in Taiwan, which appears to improve camera performance. However, we have not found any word of the camera in the official changelog or update screenshot.
On its software support page, Samsung mentioned that the Galaxy S23’s AWC4 software update brings “the latest Android security patch, and enhanced device security.” Meanwhile, the software weighs about 380 megabytes and the PDA version number hints at just security improvements.
It’s important to mention that the Galaxy S23 series received the last SW update on February 23, with the last month’s patch in Taiwan. Further, the company initially released the AWC4 software to Galaxy S23 on March 21, which includes the March 2023 patch.
Mostly, the South Korean tech giant deploys the latest firmware in its home ground or China with outdated patches. Therefore, there’s a possibility of camera improvements for the devices with Taiwan’s AWC4 firmware, which could bring April’s patch to global variants.
So far, the company has not started to release the April 2023 security patch to Galaxy devices. It’s expected that the new patch’s distribution may begin after sharing the Android security bulletin with Google. We recommend you stay tuned with SammyFans for instant insights across the Galaxy ecosystem.
