Verizon brings March 2023 update for Samsung Galaxy S20+, S20 Ultra

Verizon has started rolling out a new software update with a March 2023 security patch for Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G and Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G users in the US.

March 2023 update for Samsung Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra smartphones at Verizon mobile network comes with versions G986USQS3HWC3 and G988USQS3HWC3 respectively. The update is currently rolling out for locked variants in the US.

Galaxy S20 series users in Europe and other US network carriers are already enjoying the update. While users in some countries are still waiting for the patch, the company will soon provide the update to all the S20 series.

Let us tell you that you will get this only when your mobile is updated to One UI 5.1. If you have not yet updated to the latest version of One UI, then you should do it immediately so that you can make your mobile more secure with yet another new update.

Samsung March 2023 security patch fixes for five critical common vulnerability exposers and about three dozen high-level CVEs for the Android operating system by Google.

In addition, the Korean tech giant has included 26 SVE (patches to One UI). These Galaxy-exclusive patches include improvements for the native Phone app, System UI, Samsung Keyboard, Galaxy Themes, and more.

Before you start downloading, be sure to fully charge your mobile battery as well as connect your device to a Wi-Fi network, or make sure it has a strong Verizon Wireless network connection.

If you haven’t received the notification for the latest update on your One UI 5.1-powered smartphone, you can do a manual check by going to Settings, then the Download and Install option which is under the Software Update section.
