Google has recently released the March 2023 Android Feature Drop for Pixel smartphones. As spotted by 9to5Google, Google has also added a handful of new wallpapers in its official application, which are available for download on all Android devices except for the latest Samsung Galaxies.

According to the information, the Google Wallpapers app, which is available for all Android phones on Play Store, has recently added a handful of new backgrounds. But, when I jumped to get the Google Wallpapers app on the Play Store, it notified me that the app is not compatible with your version of Android (13).

In addition to the Galaxy S22 Ultra, I tried to download the Google Wallpapers app on my Galaxy S21 and the Galaxy Z Fold3. All of my devices are running the latest Android 13-based One UI 5.1 firmware, and it looks like the app is not compatible for now.

Sideloading won’t work as well. So if you have a Galaxy device running Android 12, you can try downloading the Google Wallpapers app from Play Store. Once done, you will get a huge library of official wallpapers, which can be applied on both home and lock screens.

Newly added walls:

  1. Art: Love, Pixel
  2. Cityscapes: Cityscapes
  3. Landscapes: Photo by VictorAerden
  4. Life: Life
  5. Solid colors: Soft Violet
  6. Textures: Textures

Apart from new wallpapers, Google has refreshed the cover image of several categories, even without adding wallpaper in the corresponding section. Notably, Google Pixel 5a’s default stock wallpaper is now available for all Android phones, which you can find as “Love, Pixel” under Art.
