First Samsung Galaxy A54 update brings camera improvements
Samsung launched a new Galaxy A series smartphone, Galaxy A54 in early March 2023. Now, the company has begun releasing the first update for the Samsung Galaxy A54 smartphone with camera improvements.
The latest update of Galaxy A54 enhances the behavior of the camera app to provide a better experience. Also, it installs February 2023 security patch to improve the system security of the device.
Aside from this, the update also upgrades a bundle of One UI apps including Samsung Notes Add-ons, AR Zone, Galaxy Shop, Members, Wallet, Samsung TV Plus, Voice Recorder, SmartThings, and more to the latest version.
According to the information (via GalaxyClub), February 2023 update is currently rolling out for Galaxy A54 models in Europe. The update is rolling out gradually so it may take some hours/days to reach all A54 models.
Samsung Galaxy A54 smartphone gets its first firmware update with PDA version A546BXXU1AWC4 and weighs 227.73 megabytes package. If you have got the notification of the update then install it now. Also, you can manually check the update through Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install.

This update incorporates 6 critical and 28 high-level fixes from Google. Additionally, one previously resolved issue has been readdressed, and another is not relevant to Samsung devices.
On the Samsung side, 2 high-level vulnerabilities in its semiconductor products have been patched. The update also includes 8 fixes listed under Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE), focusing on the Theme Center, Galaxy Watch Bluetooth functionality, SmartSwitch, and Dex Mode.
To check the update, you just need to navigate to the device’s Settings, then a Software update, and Download and install. If you have received the update, install it now to get enhanced features.

Samsung moves closer to One UI 7 Beta release for Galaxy S24
Samsung is rolling out the November 2024 security update for the Galaxy Watch 7 in Europe, after Korea. This update is important as it’s the first security patch for the watch since it was released in July.
Before this, the Galaxy Watch 7 had been criticized for not getting updates on time, with some models still using security patches from months before the watch was even launched.
November 2024 security update is available for Galaxy Watch 7 Bluetooth models (SM-L300, SM-L310) in Europe with firmware version ending with XXU1AXK6. However, not all models are getting the update just yet.
The update is currently not available for the 4G versions of the Galaxy Watch 7 (SM-L305F, SM-L315F) or the Galaxy Watch Ultra (SM-L705F). Samsung is expected to release the update for these models soon.
The fresh update improves the watch’s stability and reliability. The most essential part is that it adds the latest security patch for November 2024 as it makes the device more secure.
Users will have to install a 245 MB software package to install the update. You can also check for the update manually by connecting the watch to your phone, opening the Wearable app then, going to the Watch 7 settings in the app and selecting Update watch software.
