Verizon rolling out March 2023 update for Samsung Galaxy S23 series and S20 FE

Verizon is releasing a new update for the Samsung Galaxy S23 series and Galaxy S20 FE, which installs March 2023 security patch to improve system security.

Samsung’s February 2023 update fixes more than 60 related issues and exposures including 5 Critical and 35 High CVEs from Google’s Android operating system and 23 Galaxy-specific SVEs affecting One UI apps and services.

The update is rolling out to Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, Galaxy S23 Ultra, and Galaxy S20 FE users on the Verizon Mobile network carrier in the US. However, the update is already available for users in several countries and other US mobile network carriers.

Through this update, the company ensures that you don’t meet any crashing, freezing, or lagging problems while handling the phone. It is just an incremental update so it does not bring any new features or changes except monthly security maintenance.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S20 FE in the US on Verizon can easily check the March 2023 update via System Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the update.
