According to Samsung tipster IceUniverse, the Galaxy Z Fold5 will bring a 6.2-inch panel, exactly the same as its predecessor. The source also claimed that he has confirmed information about most specifications of upcoming foldable devices.

In another Tweet, Ice revealed that the design of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 won’t be changed. Meaning that we will be getting just refined versions of the last year’s Samsung foldable phones in 2023. Other than this, the tipster has not revealed anything about key specs such as the processor and camera.

After the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold4, consumers asked Samsung to bring a wider panel with the future foldable without increasing the size. The Z Fold 4’s external display has a tall aspect ratio of 23.1:9. That’s much taller than the 19.5:9 aspect ratio of the S23’s 6.1-inch display.

The tipster has just revealed the outer display size of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold5 smartphone and there is still a possibility that the company may introduce a different aspect ratio. At present, we are months away from the launch as well as there is no graphical evidence regarding the design of Fold5.

Recent rumors about the Galaxy Z Fold5 promise a thinner design and a new type of hinge in order to reduce the display crease. Besides, the Galaxy Z Flip5 is also reportedly getting a bigger external display, which has also been one of the highly requested changes.
