Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Renders Botanic Green

Samsung could launch the Galaxy S23 FE along with the Galaxy Tab S8 FE in August this year. It’s worth mentioning that the company picks August Unpacked to introduce the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip devices, but, this year’s event could become a mega show with two new devices.

In September 2020, the South Korean tech titan introduced the Galaxy S20 FE, followed by the Galaxy S21 FE in January 2022. This year, the company has skipped launching the Galaxy S22 FE seeing the market downturn and changes in operational strategy.

Notably, earlier reports have revealed that Samsung Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy Tab S8 FE would launch in the second half of this year (probably August or September). Both of these devices might not make an impact on the sales of foldables, so probably, the launch may happen at the same event.

The Galaxy Tab S8 series, which had not got its sequel at the February 2023 Unpacked, may get successors in August 2023. Combining all possibilities, there will be a new foldable lineup, new flagship tablets, and two Fan Edition products along with a smartwatch and earbuds.

The Galaxy S21 FE 5G launched with a starting price tag of $599.99, which is currently available for just $499.99 with an eligible trade-in. For the Galaxy S23 FE, the company should reduce the launch price or bring some eye-catching offers to gain user attraction.

Talking about the top features, there could be a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. The device would look a lot like the Galaxy S23 Plus in terms of design and size, however, the display will be comparatively smaller.

There are fewer chances of the arrival of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset, and Samsung may use the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor. Practically, the chipset brings a lot of improvements over the vanilla variant, thanks to TSMC’s 4nm process technology.
