Samsung Always On Display app getting March 2023 update
The month of March has started and Samsung has not forgotten to enhance its apps through new updates like every month. The company is pushing the March 2023 update for Samsung Always On Display app.
The new update for Always On Display functionality enhances performance and stability by fixing minor bugs. However, no additional feature or change is noted in the latest version but you will definitely get a smoother usability experience after updating.
The Korean tech giant is rolling out Samsung Always On Display March 2023 update with version 8.1.30 and users will have to download a 39.57 MB package to install the update.
It is worth mentioning that the new update is compatible with Galaxy devices running from One UI 5.1 / One UI 5.0 based on Android 13 to Android 9 Pie.
This is an early rollout, so reaching all eligible devices may take some time. You can install the Samsung Always On Display app’s latest update via Galaxy Store to get better performance.
In addition, you can also download it directly from the third-party source link mentioned here. However, we recommend that you should wait for the official release.
You can check the latest version of the Samsung Always On Display app that is running on your smartphone, just need to follow some steps. First, open Settings >> Scroll down and tap on Lock Screen >> Click on Always On Display >> Press About Always On Display option, and a new page appears that shows the latest version.
One UI 6 AOD Concept
Back in January 2023, a Samsung fan shared a new concept of One UI 6.0 which is very interesting and useful. The new concept is related to the new feature of Always on Display which is Adaptive AOD.
One UI 6.0 concept shows the Adaptive Always On Display feature and after enabling it you can see your ongoing activity on the lock screen. As you are listening to music, looking at routes on Google Maps, or the timer is on then you do not need to unlock your smartphone when it is locked as you can see your ongoing tasks on the Always On Display. Samsung QuickStar app has received a fresh update with version 7.2.06.35, which enhances some functions for Galaxy devices running One UI 6.1 or One UI 6.0. The update is available on the Galaxy Store for eligible devices.
With the new update, users now have the option to customize the date format on their device’s clock display. This feature is compatible with devices running One UI 6.1 and above, allowing users to adjust how the date appears according to their preferences.
In addition, the update brings a new method for connecting the QuickStar app with Samsung’s Theme Park Good Lock module. To take advantage of this feature, users must ensure their Galaxy devices (running One UI 6.0 or higher) have the latest version of Theme Park, specifically version 1.1.00.8 or higher.
Furthermore, the update stabilizes the “Quick settings instant access” function. Overall, the update aims to enhance the customization features and stability of the user interface. If your device is eligible, download the update through Galaxy Store >> Menu option >> Updates.

Samsung has updated its Keys Cafe Good Lock module app to version 1.6.1.10, which enhances its compatibility with the latest One UI 6.1. This update refines the user interface and provides a seamless experience across its devices.
The main highlight of this update is the theme optimization for One UI 6.1, which ensures that the visual elements of the Samsung Keys Cafe app blend smoothly with the overall theme of the user interface.
In addition, the update brings a series of bug fixes to improve the app’s stability and performance. Among the improvements, users will notice the solution of app interruptions, which previously restricted the app’s operation. It also corrects errors that occurred while selecting images for personal stickers and fixes issues on the key effect screen.
The typing practice start screen error, the progress bar error which reflects the key size in keyboard editing, and the empty key label issue have been addressed with this update.
Furthermore, the update also fixes input problems with the Chinese keyboard in the custom keyboard save menu and resolves issues that occurred when the device was rotated in the keyboard creation dialog.
