Android Auto 13.0 update gives a sneak peek at new Car Media feature
Google is rolling out a new update for Android Auto with version 13.0. This update mainly focuses on fixing bugs and improving performance to enhance the experience.
Android Auto 13.0 update reveals that Google is working on a new feature called Car Media, which will let users control AM/FM radio and local media more easily. This feature aims to improve how users interact with your car’s audio system.
In the latest version, some hidden code hints at how this new feature will work with missing and unavailable media. Although this feature isn’t live yet in Android Auto 13.0, the presence of some strings (spotted via 9to5Google) suggests that it could be coming soon.
Previously, icons related to this feature were added to the app, which shows that Google is making progress. Users can look forward to a more seamless way to manage their music and radio when this feature is officially launched.
Aside from this, the update also fixes some issues that users encountered in the previous version to enhance the overall performance. While users may not see big changes immediately, it hints at a better audio experience in the future.
The new update of Android Auto is now available through the Play Store. You can download it to get enhanced features.
