February 2023 update for Galaxy A52s comes with One UI build version A528BXXS2DWB5 and an installation package size of around 250 MB. You can download the latest update to get a better experience.

It’s time for One UI 5.1, but Samsung released the February 2023 software update for the Galaxy A52s 5G smartphone. Indian consumers can now download and install the most up-to-date security patch as it’s available for consumers.

Samsung’s latest February Android patch includes fixes for a total of 55 vulnerabilities and exposures that were harming user privacy and security. More specifically, the update addresses 5 CVEs leveled Critical, and 43 CVEs leveled High.

With February 2023 software, your Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G smartphone is getting fixes for several bugs and threats. Since the company is yet to release the One UI 5.1 enhancements for your device, the latest security OTA is crucial.

The One UI 5.1 firmware was introduced alongside the Galaxy S23 series earlier this month. All the Galaxy flagships running Android 13 have started receiving the One UI 5.1 update in various markets. Besides, Samsung promised that the update will be coming to more Galaxy devices in the future.

How to update

On your Galaxy device, access System Settings and visit the Software update tab. Once reached, you should get another tab entitled “Download and install” tap on it. Now, follow the on-screen instructions to finish the software update procedure.

Galaxy A52s 5G

In 2021, Samsung launched the Galaxy A52s 5G smartphone with a powerful Snapdragon 778G processor. Out of the box, the device came with Android 11-based One UI 3.1. Later, Samsung delivered the Android 12 (One UI 4) and Android 13 (One UI 5) update.

As per the company’s update policy, the Galaxy A52s 5G will end its major updates support later this year, with receiving the Android 14-based One UI 6 update. Meanwhile, it’s eligible for another year of monthly security updates.

April 2024 security patch fixes over 40 security flaws to provide an intuitive experience. It protects against security threats by incorporating the latest security patches for Android. It also enhances some functions to provide a more reliable and efficient user experience.

Samsung promises to fix Quick Panel issue in next One UI 6.1 update

Samsung has acknowledged the Quick Panel issue in its latest One UI 6.1 update that is affecting users. The issue unexpectedly activates the quick panel when users interact with notifications or try to access detailed views. This problem has been a cause of inconvenience for many Galaxy users.

The tech giant has assured its users that a fix is in the works. A community moderator said the company apologizes for the inconvenience caused by this bug and has promised to deliver a software update to resolve the Quick panel issue on One UI 6.1 devices.

Samsung has pushed an April 2024 security update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones in Korea. This update enhances system security and stability as well as adds new features for a better user experience.

April 2024 security update for the Galaxy S22 series in Korea brings Mobile ID support for the Samsung Wallet app. Through this update, users can save and use their government-issued mobile driver’s license and national veterans registration card on their phones.

However, only IC cards with a mobile ID icon can be added. Users can use it anywhere just like your real ID. In addition, the update also applies the Google security patch to enhance the performance

Users will have to download a 420MB package to install the update. To install the update, need to navigate to Settings >> Software Updates >> Download and install.
