What’s new:

The February 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy F23 does not carry any notable changes. It only optimizes the security of your phone to protect it from unwanted viruses and errors. Meanwhile, the improved system stability ensures seamless system performance.

On the other hand, Samsung’s February 2023 security patch details also mention fixes for a handful of vulnerabilities and exposures that were harming the phone’s security and its user’s privacy.

45 of these issues belong to Google’s Android security bulletin whereas, 7 are Galaxy specific that were affecting various One UI apps and services including the Phone app, Contact app, fingerprint scanner, and more.

One UI 5.1 coming soon:

The Galaxy F23 smartphones have already grabbed the major Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update that installs plenty of new features, improvements, and customization capabilities, as well as a revamped user interface.

Meanwhile, the company has started releasing the One UI 5.1 update to Galaxy devices. Currently, the flagship Galaxy phones have installed it but it seems like the mid-rangers will start getting it next week. Considering the Galaxy F23, it is expected to get it in March 2023.
