Samsung S23 Pause USB Power Delivery

Samsung officially introduced the Galaxy S23 smartphone and its new features and internals. But a useful feature that Samsung didn’t discuss is caught on the Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone called Pause USB Power Delivery.

A famous tech blogger named NL Tech has recently reviewed the Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone and detailed its hidden features that the company did not discuss at the launch event. One of those features is its Game Booster’s Pause USB Power Delivery.

As per the blogger’s description, this charging bypass feature is useful for game lovers. When turned on, it allows the device to supply the input power directly to the processor instead of passing through the battery and then reaching the processor.

In other words, your phone’s battery will not get charged when you activate the Pause USB Power Delivery feature. This will improve thermals and offer well-maintained performance as a direct power supply to the processor means your phone will generate less heat during gameplay.

At the same time, this feature also helps in improving the battery health of the smartphone. When your phone is not charging continuously, the feature reduces the battery charge cycle to keep the battery healthy for a long time.

As you can see in the review video or the images mentioned below, the Galaxy S23 Ultra consumes 17W of power when the Pause USB Power Delivery is turned off but the power reduces to just 6W when turned it on. This is a huge difference.

Moreover, the Pause USB Power Delivery feature of Samsung Game Booster is available on all three Galaxy S23 models. Currently, we don’t know if this feature is related to One UI 5.1 and will be rolling out to older models as well or if it is exclusive to the S23 model. However, the One UI 5.1 changelog didn’t mention it.

Samsung is bringing a meaningful camera upgrade to the upcoming Galaxy A35 5G. A new report reveals that the company’s new mid-range smartphone will have a 50-megapixel primary camera. Earlier mid-range Galaxy phones use 48 or 64-megapixel sensors.

Last year, Samsung’s Galaxy A54 5G switched to a 50-megapixel camera, ditching the conventional sensor. However, the Galaxy A35 5G appears to be sharing the same 50-megapixel primary camera as its elder sibling, the Galaxy A55 5G.

Apple’s new iPhone 15 Pro is a hot topic, why not it should be, it’s so hot (even on fire!). Following the release, some iPhone 15 Pro Max users complained about the overheating issues. Their device gets warm, even with no longer use cases or gaming, rendering them in big trouble.

Initial purchasers of the iPhone 15 Pro Max complain that their phone gets too hot within minutes. The phone’s temperature reaches a level where the iOS stops charging (if connected) until it decreases. Some report that the titanium body appears horribly hot, which is disappointing.

A user managed to check the temperature of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which registered over 100-degree Fahrenheit. The model is getting warm even without using it as well as sometimes minutes after connecting the USB C-Type charging cable.

Notably, Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro Max is equipped with A17 Pro chipset. This processor is manufactured by Taiwan’s TSMC on the cutting-edge 3nm process technology. Apple recommends users not charge their iPhone with Android’s USB C cable, while the overheating reports continue to emerge.

The South Korean tech giant believes that the early debut of its next-gen Galaxy S flagships will help counter the success of the iPhone 15 series. Following the release, Apple is securing outstanding consumer response towards its iPhone 15 series internationally.

Next year’s Galaxy S flagship lineup will present three models – S24, S24 Plus and S24 Ultra. Samsung appears to be bringing back the in-house Exynos 2400 chipset, but the Ultra will solely use Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy, manufactured by TSMC.
