Now, the company has published details of the February 2023 security patch and revised the list of monthly and quarterly updates for Samsung devices.

Like every month, this month too some devices have started their update cycles, some have ended and some have been upgraded. In addition, the latest security update improves the performance of the devices by fixing some issues.

Samsung February 2023 Update Plan 

According to the Scope page, Samsung’s February 2023 plan provides Monthly Security Updates for 38 Galaxy devices and Quarterly Security Updates for 65 Galaxy devices. Aside from Monthly and Quarterly, the company is committed to supporting 52 devices with Biannual Security Updates.

February 2023 security patch is currently rolling out for locked Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphones on T-Mobile network carriers in the US. However, this update is already available in Europe.

Samsung Galaxy A30s March 2023 update

Samsung is rolling out a new update for Galaxy A30s smartphones, which installs a March 2023 security patch to improve the security of the device. Users can identify the latest update via One UI build version A307GTVJS5CWC1.

March 2023 update for Samsung Galaxy A30s is currently available in Brazil and the company will soon expand it to all A30s models. This is an incremental update so it does not include any new features or changes other than security maintenance.

As per the official March 2023 security patch details, the update fixes a bundle of security bugs in Android OS and Samsung. This update fixes a bunch of 60 vulnerabilities which includes 23 Galaxy-specific Samsung Vulnerability and Exposures.

Users of Galaxy A30s will have to download a 146.88 MB package to install the latest update. It is an initial rollout so it may take some hours/weeks to reach all eligible devices.
