Other than these, the February 2023 update for Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 does not bring any other changes or new features. Thus, the corresponding device customers will only have to satisfy with the security and stability enhancements.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro recently got a couple of new and useful features that further enhance the wearable’s usability. It installed a 360 Audio recording feature that lets customers record immersive sound to the video content through the Samsung smartphone camera.
The Buds 2 also gets new Connected device diagnostics options to let users check the proper performance of their earbuds’ tough sensor, charging function, and others. However, at present we know if the features are coming to Galaxy Buds 2 earbuds or not.
In any case, the latest Galaxy Buds 2 update comes with firmware version R177XXU0AWA3. You can now download it through the Galaxy Wearable app on your connected smartphone. In the Galaxy Wearable app, search for Earbuds software update and click on the Download and install option.
It is noteworthy that you will not be able to use your Galaxy Buds 2 while downloading and installing the update. So keep patience and let the system complete the installation procedure.
