Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite users in the US have long waited for the major Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update, it’s rolling out finally. The company is releasing this software update for the carrier-unlocked model in the United States and you can recognize it via One UI build version G770U1UEU6HVL5.

It is worth mentioning that Android 13 is the last major Android update for the Galaxy S10 Lite smartphone as it has already installed its all three major Android versions, such as Android 11, 12, and 13. On the other hand, One UI 5.0 could also be its last One UI upgrade, as the company hinted earlier.

Coming back to Android 13, Samsung unlocks plenty of new customization capabilities for the Galaxy S10 Lite smartphones with the latest update. Additionally, it brings a new user interface with bolder app icons, tweaked Quick settings panel and Notification Panel, and more.

While considering the new features, there are 16 Color palette options, a new lockdown mode for better privacy, Stack widgets, Notification permission, a Camera watermark, a new smart suggestion widget, a Help guide in Camera Pro mode, new multitasking gestures, and many more.

At the same time, the company has also improved some already available One UI apps and services like Samsung Gallery, Notes app, Samsung Internet, Edge Panels, Samsung DeX, Smart view, and many others. Meanwhile, the are various new lock screen customization options.

Aside from these, the Settings app is also getting three major changes with the addition of Connected devices, Modes and Routines, and Security and Privacy menus.

Besides the major changes, the update also carries the December 2022 Android security patch. However, this device in other countries is already receiving the fresh January 2023 security patch.
