One UI 5.1 update could bring AstroHyperlapse to older Samsung flagships

Just like Samsung Galaxy S22 introduced the Nightography camera feature for Galaxy users to capture effortless night pictures, the Galaxy S23 series will come with an AstroHyperlapse camera feature so that users will not have to compromise while shooting the stars.

According to tipster Ahmed Qwaider, the AstroHyperlapse camera feature will not only let customers capture high-quality pictures of stars but will also allow them to shoot a short video clip from day to night in a professional way.

If you are using one of the new Galaxy phones, you might be familiar with its Hyperlapse camera mode. It allows users to create their own time-lapse videos and record at different frame rates that automatically adjust with what you are recording. The new AstroHyperlapse is also likely to perform in the same way but to capture stars.
Moreover, Samsung will slowly expand the AstroHyperlapse camera feature to its older flagship phones including Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Z Fold 3/4, and Galaxy Z Flip 3/4 with their One UI 5.1 update.

In addition to South Korea and Germany, Samsung has now launched the Android 14-based One UI 6 Beta in the US. Users of carrier-unlocked or T-Mobile branded Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, or S23 Ultra smartphones can now sign up to get the Beta firmware via OTA.
