Samsung has started to roll out a new software update for Galaxy M13 5G smartphone users that installs the latest January 2023 Android security patch. With this update, the Galaxy M13 has become the first low-cost phone to join Samsung flagships with this month’s security patch.

Last month, Samsung Galaxy M13 5G smartphone collected its first major software update as Android 13-based One UI 5.0. It brought a lot of new features and changes for the devices and now the latest January 2023 security patch is further enhancing those features as well as fixing errors.

For your information, the latest update slightly enhances your Galaxy M13’s performance as it optimizes the system stability to reduce issues like app crashing, lagging, or freezing.

At the same time, Samsung’s support page mentions fixes for plenty of vulnerabilities and exposures affecting Galaxy phones’ security and privacy. These include 52 high-level CVE items from Google’s Android OS and 20 Galaxy-specific exposures harming One UI apps and services.

Moreover, Samsung has dispatched the Galaxy M13 January 2023 security update with One UI build version M136BXXS2BVL1. It’s presently rolling out for Indian customers, however, the company should not take much time to spread it in other regions.
