Samsung Galaxy S24 One UI 7 testing

Samsung Galaxy S24 series is likely to be the first to get the Android 15 update with One UI 7. It’s now December 2024, and a new One UI 7 build has been spotted for the Galaxy S24 Ultra on the test server, Checkfirm. Samsung had announced that they would release a beta version by the end of the year, and this new build shows it’s almost here.

Reports suggest that Samsung is currently progressively working on the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series. The latest version has changed from ZXKV to ZXKY. The new build shows that Samsung is giving the final touch before rolling out the update. This also means the beta version is very close to being available for users to test.

One UI 7 update will bring a host of new features, including improved user interface design, performance upgrades, and new customization options. It will fully revamp the interface to provide a clearer and simpler look.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 LTE no longer supports Wear OS 5 Beta

Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro

Samsung announced the end of its Wear OS 5-based One UI 6 Watch Beta for Galaxy Watch 5 series LTE. The company has been conducting the Beta activity for a handful of weeks to let users test out the upcoming software.

Following the Beta’s end, a stable Wear OS 5-based One UI 6 Watch update has been rolled out to Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro users. Samsung advised Beta participants to upgrade the software to leave the Beta Program.

What’s New

Samsung’s One UI 6 Watch introduces design tweaks and software fluency. Galaxy Watch models running Wear OS will have an elevated experience. New features are also included apart from personalization options for Samsung consumers.

The major update comes with new watch faces, visual enhancements, and enhanced tile graphics. You can monitor your energy levels with Galaxy AI, get more detailed sleep analysis, and create your own workout routines.

Galaxy AI feature suite is also boosted with the inclusion of AI Suggested Replies. It allows you to respond to messages quickly with AI-generated replies tailored to the message you received.

Battery life is also getting improved. When Power saving is turned on, you can also choose to limit health features like workout auto-detection and background heart rate measurements to make your battery last even longer than before.

General Rollout?

Samsung officially launched the One UI 6 Watch rollout. The company announced eligible models will sequentially receive the major firmware update. The Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic models are already getting the update.

Beta Participants in South Korea can now upgrade to the Stable version. An incremental build, weighing around 110Mb, turns the Beta to Stable. For maximum performance, I suggest you perform a factory reset after backing up the data.

One UI 7’s Samsung Clock App Leaked: New Design and Features [Gallery]

Samsung One UI 7 Clock app

Several Galaxy apps are reportedly getting new icons and features with the upcoming One UI 7 update. Now, a new version of the Samsung Clock app for One UI 7 has leaked online, giving us an early look at some of the features and changes coming to Galaxy devices.

One UI 7 is Samsung’s upcoming software update, and this new leak shows a few exciting new features for the Samsung Clock app. The next major update aims to make the Clock app more useful and easier to navigate.

What’s New Coming

Samsung Clock app gets a fresh design as the main tabs, including Clock, World Clock, Timer, and Stopwatch, now have new icons. The preloaded alarm backgrounds have been updated, and the font used for numbers and text is different.

With the One UI 7, the Samsung Clock app icon has a new look along with the redesigned home screen widgets. The new clock widgets provide a clearer and more useful interface.

Moreover, the new Clock app makes the alarms easier to manage with a universal volume control feature. This allows users to adjust the volume for all alarms with a single slider turned on by default. If you prefer to set different volumes for each alarm, you can switch back to the old system Volume menu in the app’s Settings.

The Alarm Groups feature helps you to group multiple alarms together and turn them on or off at once. However, right now, there’s no way to add existing alarms to a group. To create a group, you’ll have to make new alarms from within the group’s settings.

You can install the new One UI 7 Clock app and install it manually, as it is available with version 12.4.02.38. You can check the update for download from the APKMirror link.
